My name is Bente Ellyt and I’m born in 1949.
I was asked in marts 2000, whether I would join in embroidering a copy of the Bayeux tapestry. I had no idea about what this tapestry was, but I said yes and joined in. In order to be allowed to work on it, I should make a small sample with the right stiches used at the tapestry. It was all right and I have participated every year since that time.
